Your blog and journey is very inspiring. I have noticed there are far fewer children and adults going for walks and playing outside. When I was a child, I spent every single evening, after finishing homework, playing outside.
I believe those days outside are what allowed me to get my college degree in Biology. Now I am an educator that works with real live exotic animals!
I really love your blog, I liked how you said what you did when you were walking! My God! You walked 1150 miles, you know, my grandma will think you are an angle because you walked all this miles. I am 10 years old and I am in 4th grade and I would love to be from your daughter in Pan American School of Bahia. Ms. Anne is teaching us about plants. My birthday is in September 29 and I was born in 9/29/1999 all nine and my brother is all seven 7/27/1997.
My Walk for All the Grandchildren, to confront the perils of climate change, started on March 8, 2009, in Galveston, Texas, and ended on August 29, in Rouses Point, NY. I thank all of you that followed this blog, sending me comments, and even joining me on my walk.
After my Walk I started a Carbon Addiction 10-Step Program to help us all decrease our carbon footprint.
Three blogs address different aspects of my efforts: ForAllTheGrandchildren covers the Walk and new Climate Walks; on my ClimateChangeChildren blog I talk with children who care about the planet and its climate; and 10stepCAP registers communication among the Carbon Addiction Program members.
My website will tell you more about these activites: climatewalk.homestead.com.

The article is really good one. It makes me really inspired to see beyond the limits.

Hello, Ana Carolina,
How nice to get your message. I'm going to Bahia today and maybe I'll go to the Pan American School.
Love, Nana Greta
